The Minoan civilization thrived from around 2700 to 1450 BC, known for their seafaring and mercantile activities. This flourishing culture was based on the island of Crete and eventually became the dominant power in the Aegean region. Referred to as "the Sea Peoples" by the Egyptians, the Minoans were admired for their pottery and ceramics, which featured innovative shapes and designs inspired by the sea. Their vases and jugs, crafted from fine clay with thin walls, were considered remarkable achievements of their time. Through their artwork, including paintings, sculptures, and architectural designs, historians have gained insight into the lives and customs of the Minoan people in Crete.

Our clay items are meticulously hand-painted, using the same materials and techniques employed by the ancient Greeks.
